Our latest device features & developments are:

1. Fully adjustable current – the Doctor is able to adjust the level of current delivered to the patient’s tolerance, as some can find the sensation uncomfortable.
2. Ergonomic design – the handle is designed to allow the doctor to have easy control at the desired angle and is comfortable to hold during the procedure.
3. Our eXroid Electrotherapy device is designed to be used by trained medical professionals in a clinic environment.
4. Our Treatment Kits, that contain all the single use items such as the proctoscope, are supplied sterile and all components are supplied in Tyvek packaging and have been Gamma sterilised.
5. Most importantly, eXroid holds ISO 13485:2016 accreditation which holds us to a high standard and ensures we consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Our accreditations

As a medical device manufacturer, all of our equipment is made and developed in the UK and we are proud to be CE and ISO13485:2016 accredited by the British Standards Institution (BSI).

Our service has been evaluated by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) who have produced two sets of approval guidelines which accredit the treatment as safe and effective (IPG525 and MIB201).

eXroid is a registered and regulated service Provider with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as we strive for the highest levels of care and service standards.
