We wanted to tell you all about eXroid, and why we have brought electrotherapy as a treatment for haemorrhoids to the UK.

As a long-term sufferer of haemorrhoids, our founder Graham underwent a number of traditional treatments including banding which all proved to be unsuccessful. After many years of suffering Graham heard about a new, highly successful treatment for haemorrhoids from the USA called electrotherapy. This technology was not available in the UK or Europe at the time and so Graham made it his mission to better understand the technology and see if it was indeed to answer for him and the millions on UK sufferers.

As a company, we take research and development seriously and for this reason we have chosen our headquarters to be based in Discovery Park, Kent, one of the leading health, science and biotech innovation centres in the country.

With a wealth of major life science, manufacturing, research and health provider companies on site, Discovery Park is seen as a breeding ground for innovation and excellence and was awarded the government Life Sciences Opportunity Zone status in 2019. eXroid is an active member of this community helping us develop partnerships and service improvements for the benefit of our patients.

Our services and clinics are available across the country, are CQC registered, and our treatment is delivered by some of the leading Colorectal Specialist Consultants in the UK, who will look after you for your care and treatment. One of our leading Consultant Specialist tells his story:

eXroid^®: fully regulated and accredited

Our service has been evaluated by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) who have produced two sets of approval guidelines which accredit the treatment as safe and effective (IPG525 and MIB201). eXroid is a registered and regulated service Provider with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as we strive for the highest levels of care and service standards.

The eXroid service is also PCI DSS compliant, giving both financial assurance and security to our patients when they make their payments with us.
