"I stopped by a restaurant on my way home"

I first started to suffer from haemorrhoids in the mid 1980s.

Nothing too serious but the symptoms gradually got worse as time went by. I tried over the counter medicines but they had no effect what so ever. I eventually visited my GP who prescribed medication which also had little if any effect.

The blood loss and pain was getting worse and having an adverse effect on my everyday life. I suffered a prolapse and was hospitalised.
