For most of my adult life I have suffered from the debilitating effects of bad/chronic/terrible haemorrhoids which have had a serious impact on the way I live my life. For example, the thought of wearing white or pale clothes filled me with horror as I could have a blood loss episode without warning at any time, with obvious and embarrassing consequences.
