Mr. Tanvir Hossain qualified from the University of Sheffield Medical School in 2006. He is a consultant general surgeon with over 10 years of experience in the treatment of haemorrhoids. This has included patient education, preventive care, open excision, banding, and now electrotherapy.

In addition to his proficiency in haemorrhoid treatment, Mr. Hossain has a range of skills in various endoscopic procedures. He is experienced in gastroscopy, balloon dilatation, Eso-SPONGE® and transnasal endoscopy.

Mr. Hossain is dedicated to advancing medical knowledge through research. As part of his doctorate degree awarded in 2015 by the University of Nottingham, he conducted a randomized control trial on the perioperative care of colorectal cancer patients.
