Ms Cinzia Sammartino

General Surgeon

Ms Sammartino qualified from “Universita’ degli Study di Milano” Medical School in 1999 and obtained her CCT in General Surgery from the University of Pavia in 2015. Her higher surgical training was undertaken in Italy, France and UK where she worked as post CCT Clinical fellow for one and a half years before becoming consultant.

She is at present working as a Consultant Renal Transplant Surgeon with an interest in Laparoscopic Benign Surgery and Proctology at the Royal London Hospital since 2009. She enjoys teaching and surgical training and is active in both local and regional training programmes, as well as having an interest in research and academic surgery.

Service development and leadership have been part of her career and she is the Clinical Lead of the Renal Transplant Unit at the Royal London Hospital.

As a professional with a special interest in minimal and non-invasive treatments for benign conditions including haemorrhoids, she can provide a variety of treatment for the haemorrhoids and the latest being the eXroid electrotherapy.
