I’ve suffered since the birth of my second child

I had just one persistent haemorrhoid for 8 years since the birth of my second child.  It wasn’t too annoying so I simply put up with it, realising that it wasn’t severe enough for the NHS to offer treatment.  I’d tried a few creams and eating more fibre, but that didn’t seem to help much. Then one day I found myself feeling frustrated that I could have this for the rest of my life.  With also having IBD, there were days when it felt worse when the IBD was active.  I searched online and found Exroid.

The staff on the phone were incredibly helpful and understanding and everything was explained to me clearly, the appointment was booked quickly and before I knew it, I was having the treatment.  I felt relieved that it could be carried out even with having IBD.  The appointment itself included consultation and treatment, where the treatment was fully briefed and I didn’t feel under pressure if I had changed my mind to have it done. Two staff members were present in the room, who was very reassuring throughout and put my mind at rest.  Preparation for treatment was professional and dignified, it wasn’t embarrassing at all.  I was quite amazed at how quick and painless the treatment was – 10 minutes with minimal discomfort – all of which was explained to me as the treatment happened.

I would definitely recommend the Exroid treatment.  My results have been fantastic, some immediate relief on the same day, and a complete improvement over the following 6 weeks.  I think this non-invasive treatment will prove a blessed relief for many who have suffered from haemorrhoids, mild to severe.

eXroid COVID-19 Update

Elective treatments suspended for the next 3 weeks
Following the Prime Minister’s national address at 20:30 on Monday 23rd March, it is imperative that we do our utmost to restrict the spread of COVID-19 and safeguard our patients and their communities, our staff and our clinics. Whilst we will always aim to do all we can to help and bring relief to our patients, we are bound by the greater cause to limit this highly infectious virus. We are therefore, as of now, re-scheduling all of our clinics and appointments to over 3 weeks into the future in line with the government guidance.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience and we will speak to everyone of our booked patients individually and do all we can to provide support.

We do, however, understand that there are some extreme cases and where patients feel there is an extreme detriment to their quality of life and / or they are suffering excessive bleeding, we will continue to provide our service on an emergency basis, where possible. This will be preceded by a triage call with myself initially, to ascertain what the issues are and to try to help remotely with a prescription, if possible, in the short term. We will continue to keep all of our patients directly informed and fully intend to treat everyone as planned, once the current restrictions have been lifted, presently scheduled for after the next three weeks.
